MIKE SONKO NEW PARTY NOW EYES BY ELECTIONS TO STAMP AUTHORITY AHEAD OF GENERAL ELECTIONS

The newly launched party associated with the flamboyant former Nairobi city boss Mike Mbuvi Sonko National Economic Development Party has officially presented the first batch of nomination certificates to its pioneer flag beares; Isack Abduba Fayo (MP Isiolo South constituency), George Musini Mukhwana (MCA West Kabras), Cosmas Njeru (MCA Muminji ward) and Martin Mukundi (MCA Evurore ward.

The certificates were issued by NEDP's Party Leader, H.E Mike Sonko in the presence of the Party Secretary General Ben Mulwa, Executive Director amongst other key officials, supporters and members of the public.

The party is seeking to have major seats in the upcoming general elections in 2027 even as critics argue it's associated with the ruling party UDA and is poised to scatter opposition votes in the already complicated matrix for 2027 government re election bid for the second term.
